Quick and Easy Self Care Ideas for Mothers

Quick and easy, but don't underestimate the power of self-care, even in the smallest form!

  • Make yourself coffee in the morning

  • Splurge on your favorite drink

  • Step out on the front porch and breath in fresh air and sunshine (even in the cold!)

  • Spend the extra 5 minutes in the shower to shave, or think, or sing!

  • Wake up early to watch your favorite show before the kids take over

  • Buy yourself flowers

  • Take a bubble bath

  • Go buy your favorite treat

  • Make cookies, banana bread, pumpkin muffins, etc

  • Use essential oils in a diffuser

  • Have a sing-along with your kids

  • Tell jokes

  • Read inspiring quotes

  • Light a candle

  • Plan a family movie night

  • Plan a date night

  • Color

  • Write secret notes to your kids

  • Research new hobbies

  • Request a simple back scratch or massage from your spouse
